Honda EV-Ster

The tiny two-seat roadster boasts an electric rear-wheel drive layout beneath the ‘dynamic and innovative' exterior styling. The heavily defined flanks and short over-hangs give the EV-Ster a sporting stance, the extensive use of carbon composites further confirming this, whilst the DRG boasts the familiar alternate energy family graphics.

It includes the horrible neoclassics that plagued the 1970s, and the 1995 revival of the Packard name that attempted to stick a shortened rendition of the famous Packard grille in front of a 440-hp V12, all wrapped in a shape that looked like a melted Twix, as shown above. But no one told Lewis Hamilton. His cracking form – and a crackingly good Mercedes – took Hamilton to his 34th pole position in F1 – beating Jim Clark’s record in the process – 0.6 seconds ahead of Daniel Ricciardo and 1.1 seconds ahead of world champion Sebastian Vettel.
