Boy, 3, takes family car for a spin
Fri, 25 Jul 2014A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy took his family's car for a ride - and drove down two embankments in West Sussex before ending up in a pub garden with just a bumped head. The boy started up the engine to the automatic Subaru Impreza and drove off down the family's long driveway in Henley, near Midhurst. He then carried on, driving down two embankments before ending up in the garden of the nearby 16th Century Duke of Cumberland Arms pub.

Wed, 30 Oct 2013The most recent advance in vehicle safety has to be the autonomous emergency braking system (AEB) – a sophisticated suite of sensors and electronics that monitors objects in front of your car, automatically applying the brakes for you if it senses you’re heading to hit something. Up until now these auto-brake features have not been rated, but ahead of a new 2014 test that will include AEB systems in its overall safety star scoring, Euro NCAP has put the some of the vehicles already equipped with this technology through their paces. Thu, 09 Feb 2012David Hilton has been appointed Head of Exterior Design for Bentley Motors, based in the UK. The super-luxury brand – owned by the Volkswagen Group – is headed by CEO Wolfgang Durheimer, who is also in charge of Bugatti design development. US-born Hilton replaces Raul Pires in Crewe, Cheshire, after he left Bentley at the end of 2011 to join VW-owned Italdesign.
