Possible Ferrari F70 tester spotted
Thu, 07 Jun 2012The above photos of what very well might be a development mule for the next primo Ferrari —likely to be called the F70—were recently posted on the Ferrari 4/5 Competizone Facebook page. The future F70 is expected to be a front-runner in the competition between the very best cost-no-object supercars. The F70 will feature a 7.3-liter V12 coupled to a kinetic-energy-recovery system, a combination that will be good for 920 hp.
Volvo cars will be able to tell if you're driving tired
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Volvo is currently testing in-car sensors that can monitor driver alertness -- ones that can determine if the driver is becoming tired and inattentive. A number of simple systems that basically generate warnings after a certain period of nonstop driving are now available in cars. They take into account the average speed and time elapsed since the vehicle was started.
Volvo V40 Cross Country & V40 R-Design: Paris 2012
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Volvo has revealed the V40 Cross Country and V40 R-Design at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and both are convincing. The sporty take on the new V40 is the V40 R-design, a cosmetic update for the already good-looking V40 that manages to bolt on go-faster bits without wrecking the good lines of the normal V40. We would like to have seen the Volvo V40 R-Design get the sports suspension as standard, but Volvo obviously feel that most R-Design buyers want the looks rather than the more dynamic ride the sports suspension offers, so it stays as an option. And as the R-Design option is available across the new V40 range – from the D2 to the T4 – it’s probably the right decision.
