Jaguar Land Rover first Showroom in India

    Sun, 28 Jun 2009

Ratan Tata opens the Flagship Jaguar Land Rover Showroom in Mumbai Hardly a shock that Tata are importers in India for Jaguar and Land Rover (they have to have some perks from losing over £300 million on JLR in the last 10 months), and no more shocking that the new Flagship Showroom was opened by Chairman of Tata, Ratan N. Tata. And all this is a very logical move by Tata.

    Jaguar-Land Rover officially sold (2008)

    Mon, 02 Jun 2008

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 02 June 2008 15:37 Jaguar and Land Rover are now officially Indian-owned. The sale of the two iconic British brands was completed today, and ownership has now passed from Ford to Tata in exchange for $2.3bn in cash (£1.17bn). The sale means Jag/LR is debt-free, with none of the money used to fund the purchase being offset against the pair’s worth.

Subaru BRZ: First official BRZ picture

    Tue, 01 Nov 2011

Subaru BRZ - First Photo Released We’ve had a raft of images of the Toyota FT-86 in the last week or two, but very little on its Subaru sibling – the Subaru BRZ. But now, with the Tokyo Motor Show and the official debut of the BRZ (and the FT-86) looming, we have the first photo of the Subaru offering in the Toybaru project. Developed by Subaru and Toyota – with, it seems, Subaru doing the oily bits and Toyota the styling – the ‘affordable’ sports car from Japan does seem to be a tempting offering.
