Corvette C2 License Plate Housing Bezel, accurate reproduction of the same aluminum license plate housing bezel that fits on 1963 through 1967 and holds the license plate and parts, under the bumper in the rear.

It's a brand new reproduction part, NOT AN ORIGINAL. It replaces part number 203189. It also has the numbers 1942K and 51977 so I have no idea which is the original GM number.

It was made by Paragon Reproductions in the USA.

Rubens wins in Valencia

Sun, 23 Aug 2009

Rubens Barrichello celebrates with Ross Brawn after winning the European Grand Prix Rubens has had a moan or two about his team lately, but he had nothing but praise for them as he held on to the lead he took after Hamilton in the McLaren had a pit stop from hell – when his tyres stayed in the pit garage rather too long – and drove like the veteran he is. Button, on the other hand, managed to throw away his grid position at the start and spent the whol;e race playing catch-up. He managed to finish in seventh – for a very valuable two points – but hge was never in contention.

VW Passat World distance Record When you as old as I am (or at least as old as I feel) you can’t help but be astonished at the feats of economy car makers seem able to wring from even quite serious, upmarket cars. Yesterday we reported on the Mercedes S250 CDI which manages to perform like a 1990s V8 S-Class whilst simultaneously doing nearly 50mpg. Which to an old git like me – who thought his 3.0 litre Capri in his teen years was doing well if it got 18mpg – is a bit hard to acccept.

London has the ‘Boris Bikes’, but Toyota City – home of Toyota’s biggest factory – is trialling one of Toyota’s visions of future individual transport for our cities – Ha:Mo.
