The 518bhp Audi A3 Clubsport Concept (pictured) is heading for Worthersee
The Worthersee Show is looming at the end of May, and we can expect some extreme and mad concepts from the VW Group queuing up for attention. And among those will be this, theĀ Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept. Based on the Audi S3, the A3 Clubsport eschews the S3′s 2.0 litre TFSI in favour of Audi’s 5-cylinder 2.5 litre, and in the A3 Clubsport the wick gets turned up considerably to 518bhp and 442lb/ft of torque.

The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe lands in Geneva
The big news from BMW at the Geneva Motor Show has been the arrival of the production version of the new X4, rather overshadowing the European debut of the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. Which is a shame. It’s a shame because the 4 Series Gran Coupe is a very good looking car – as is its big brother, the 6 Series Gran Coupe – even if we struggle to see how BMW are going to manage to differentiate it sufficiently from the new 3 Series saloon.

Buy a Spyker Bond and get a cheap B6 Venator (pictured)
Last year, Victor Muller seemed to have pulled off something of a coup for Spyker by delivering concepts of the B6 Venator Coupe and Spyder to much acclaim, which looked like a car that could kick-start Spyker’s rather troubled business model. After a foray in to Saab ownership, Victor Muller lost Spyker to CPP, but CPP’s reliance on finance from Victor’s pal Vlad the banker proved to be CPP’s downfall and Victor emerged, somehow, back in control of Spyker. But despite Victor’s legendary ability to schmooze finance from the most unlikely sources, it seems he’s run in to a bit of trouble with financing production of the Venator, so he’s come up with a plan that looks to be a cross between a lottery and crowd funding.
