Almost 90% of drivers ignoring MOT checks
Thu, 17 Apr 2014AN INCREDIBLE 86% of drivers think their car will pass its MoT test first time and without the need for any remedial or service work. A further 62% of British drivers fail to put any money aside to help with the cost of an MoT and any repairs that result from the legally required annual test. The research by Asda Money found that only 7% of drivers think their car will fail its MoT.

But what’s truly astonishing about this is that he ‘achieved’ the 45-point tally in just nine months, between 1 October 2012 and 20 June 2013 – and what’s more, he’s apparently still driving. Sustrans backs City's 20mph plan
Mon, 16 Sep 2013THE CHARITY Sustrans, which encourages people to travel by foot, bike or public transport, has welcomed plans to cut speed limits within the City of London to 20mph. The City of London's Court of Common Council approved the plan to reduce the speed limit to 20mph in the City as part of its Road Danger Reduction Plan. It is argued that the plan will reduce casualties by almost 10% while adding only a minute to journey times.
