New Lamborghini Estoque saloon concept revealed
Wed, 01 Oct 2008By Chris Chilton First Official Pictures 01 October 2008 20:00 After Lamborghini's endless string of frustrating teaser shots, here, finally, are the full pictures of the Aston Rapide-rivalling four-seat Lamborghini supersaloon, the Estoque. The Gallardo’s V10 will be offered but engineering boss Maurizio Reggiani told CAR that a powerful turbodiesel or possibly a hybrid petrol electric drivetrain would probably also be offered.
Toyota teases Muppets Super Bowl spot
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Former NFL player and current "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" actor Terry Crews will appear in Toyota's Highlander-focused Super Bowl ad. The automaker released a teaser spot today, referencing the Coen Brothers and featuring the Muppets' famed dilapidated bus, a fanciful tour vehicle in the vein of Ken Kesey's Furthur or the Partridge Family's Mondrian-esque Chevy. (RIP, Dave Madden.) It's safe to assume that some manner of madcap mayhem will ensue upon the arrival of the rest of the Muppet crew, but for now, all we get is a shot of pianist Rowlf buckling himself in sans invitation.
Non-starting Nissan LEAFs to be reprogrammed
Sun, 17 Apr 2011NIssan LEAF - date with a laptop They’re not exactly thick on the ground but, as we reported just a week ago, Nissan has already got problems with the Nissan LEAF, which has been refusing to restart once it’s stopped. Not restarting is not exactly a safety issue, so as long as you can actually get your nice new Nissan LEAF to start in the first place there’s no chance it will pack up on you mid-journey (unless you run out of electrickery). But having stumped up at least £10k more than an equivalent ICE car would cost for your LEAF, the least you should be able to expect is it to do what it says on the tin without packing up.
