Offered is an original Zenith-1 Carburetor as assembled on 1931 Model A Fords after APRIL 1931.  The top and bottom assemblies are matching Zenith with the top with a "Z" on the barrel and the bottom has an "ZENITH-1" on embossed on it.  This carburetor is not complete.  It is missing the side bowl, which is being reproduced and is available from vintage ford parts dealers. I do not have a Model A engine to test run it on, so it will need final adjustments including the idle screw and choke driver.

Please see my other auctions for more original vintage car parts & accessories.

Thank You!

Tesla Model S outsells luxury competition

Mon, 13 May 2013

As if Tesla needed any more good news this month, first-quarter sales are in and the electric Model S outsold the Mercedes S-class, Audi A8 and BMW 7-series, according to “CNN Money.” In the first three months of 2013, Tesla sold 4,750 sedans while Mercedes sold 3,077 of the S-class, BMW sold 2,338 of the 7-series and Audi sent 1,462 A8s out of the dealership. The Model S does have its sticker price going for it. The base model can be had for $69,900 -- possibly less with tax incentives -- while the cheapest S-class goes for $93,255, the 7-series for $74,525 and the A8 for $73,095.

Is this the new Jeep Cherokee?

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

Editor's note: Here's the official 2014 Jeep Cherokee, hastily revealed by Chrysler after these unofficial photos hit the web Friday. Spoiler alert -- it looks the same. Jalopnik has real photos of what they're claiming is the new Jeep Cherokee and, well, we'll say this: It's better than the Patriot and Compass.
