The original RetraxONE is a
sturdy, stylish way to make your truck one of a kind.
The RetraxONE retractable pickup bed cover is manufactured from
polycarbonate, a durable thermoplastic commonly known as LEXAN®. This
low-profile design incorporates a front cover that is flush with the truck bed
cover, which streamlines the overall appearance and provides a firm, dependable
seal to help to keep the truck bed dry. This rigid, one-piece sheet is
engineered to retract without joints or hinges that can trap dust, wear out or
freeze. Polycarbonate has excellent impact resistance and is unharmed by
sun, moisture or temperatures from -50 to +200°F.
Quality You Can Feel
Sealed ball-bearing rollers mounted onto the aluminum support beams allow the
RetraxONE truck bed cover to retract or close effortlessly without the use of
springs or any kind of mechanism – no moving parts to jam, freeze or fail. The compact
storage canister, approximately 11 inches squared, contains a unique
spiral track system that prevents the truck bed cover from coming into contact
with itself as it opens or closes.
Solid Dependability
Tempered aluminum support beams embedded into the polycarbonate sheet add
strength to support heavy snow loads and ensure quiet, stable travel at any
speed. In fact, the rigid design of the Retrax™ truck bed cover improves the
aerodynamics of your pickup so much that it can improve your fuel economy by as
much as 10%!

2011 BMW 1 Series Facelift
Thu, 16 Dec 2010The BMW 1 Series Coupe & Convertible get a 2011 Facelift To be entirely accurate, the 2011 BMW 1 Series Facelift isn’t across the board – at least not yet. What we are getting – at the Detroit Motor Show next month – is a modest refresh to the cosmetics on the BMW 1 Series Coupe and BMW 1 Series Convertible plus a bit of an oily tweak. On the cosmetic front the 2011 1 Series gets some new light front and back – headlight tweaks, L-shaped tail lights and LEDs front and back – and a new splitter that BMW says creates an air curtain to improve CO2 and reduce drag.
70ft tall car juggling robot planned
Wed, 02 Jul 2014BugJuggler When it comes to things we would like to see in our lifetime, a 70ft-tall robot juggling cars is most definitely one of them. So let’s all give this crazy group of ex-NASA and James Bond stunt engineers a big round of applause, because that’s exactly what they are trying to achieve. The robot is called the BugJuggler, and as yet it’s just a figment of some very over-active imaginations.
