Peugeot 308 Wagon Announced
Mon, 06 Jan 2014FRENCH car maker Peugeot has released the first details of the latest addition to its recently launched 308 range. Following on from the five-door hatchback, the firm is to launch an estate variant called the SW in the spring. Peugeot claims class leading load space plus a flat floor and the ability to fold the seats with a single action from inside the boot.
EyesOn design awards 2012 winners announced at NAIAS
Tue, 10 Jan 2012The Detroit-based EyesOn Design competition winners have just been announced at their traditional time, late on the second press day of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The jury, which this year included Ralph Giles (Chrysler), Derek Jenkins (Mazda), Lorenzo Ramaciotti (Fiat/Chrysler), Peter Schreyer (Kia) and Franz Von Holzhausen (Tesla) had a much greater array of products to choose from than in recent years; this is a somewhat rejuvenated Detroit auto show. From the cars on display at the show, the judges shortlisted the Ford Fusion, BMW 3-Series and Cadillac ATS for the best production car award.
Rolls-Royce 'art deco' models (2012) first official picture
Mon, 01 Oct 2012A Rolls-Royce Phantom is already a special machine, but for the Paris show Rolls-Royce has outfitted its display cars in Art Deco-inspired livery and trim. The Phantoms and similarly tweaked Ghost sister get special paint finished and interior trim, and will inspire a production run of Art Deco style cars made available to Rolls-Royce's most faithful clients What's different on the Art Deco Rolls Royces? On the Phantom, the black exterior is twined with a black and white-trimmed cabin, complete with hand-finished steel inlays in the picnic tables and phone compartment.
