Rather, the protagonists of Zoom-Zoom driving dynamics are taking an active approach to the brand's DNA: Put it all together: it's called “SkyActiv,” and Mazda is billing the suite of technologies as the pillars of its way forward. Revealed this morning at the Geneva Motor Show, LaFerrari is Ferrari’s answer to the McLaren P1 – and it’s a very strong answer too. Both the P1 and LaFerrari are hybrid cars with very similar performance (McLaren P1 specs here).
Jaguar Land Rover U-turn: all three UK plants saved
Fri, 15 Oct 2010Jaguar Land Rover today surprised us all by announcing that it wouldn't be closing any of its three UK plants. CEO of Tata Motors Carl-Peter Forster had told CAR as recently as the Paris motor show a few weeks ago that one plant would shut. Instead, today the unions and Jaguar Land Rover hailed a landmark deal to save jobs and all three plants at Castle Bromwich, Solihull and Halewood.
