VW 'to announce its WRC entry' at Rally Sardinia

VW Polo R WRC (2011): Volkswagen enter the WRC High-level sources in an existing World Rally Championship team have told CAR that Volkswagen will formally announce its decision to enter the WRC at Rally Sardinia, which starts on 5 May 2011, somewhat stealing the thunder of Mini’s WRC debut. With a team of engineers and and designers led by Paul Newsome, recently recruited from Williams Advance Engineering, the plan is to create halo vehicles for both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands, and a team of 150 at a new Technical Centre near Gaydon will have a customer commissioning suite for bespoke and premium personalisation.

College Exhibition: Coventry University students prepare for the Transport Design Degree Show

Final-year students on Britain's largest and oldest transport design course are preparing to exhibit their work at this year's Coventry University Degree Show. The work of hundreds of the most talented young artists, engineers, product and transport designers will be unveiled at the private view on 11 June 2004. The show is open to the public from 12-17 June 2004 and admission is free.
