We have a HUGE box of these of many types, we bought from a guy in a truck over 10+ years ago.
Believe them to be for a vintage camper or mobile home or casement window.
Believe this to be a Right Handed operator. Tried to do my research but got overwhelmed because we have so many.
Please if you have any questions ask.

This one was taken out of the never opened bag to check operation. Spins/turns freely 11-12 cranks after little W-D. It is made by WCM Quality Replacement Window & Door Hardware Co. - for Residential & Mobile Home.  Bag says 1740P. Stamped on item is WCM.\

This one measures:

2 2/8" wide at bottom
1 5/8" wide at top to the downward portion, 2" total at top with bump
1 3/8 " tall
1/2" thick
9/16" hole diameter (inside)
1/4" tube/hole length
3/8" long crank (not including where handle goes) - 3/4" total length of crank

We have two (2) of this size/type, let us know if you'd like to purchase more than one.

Michelin Challenge Design competition celebrates 10 years

Thu, 24 Mar 2011

Michelin has released a short video documenting the last ten years of the Challenge Design competition. With excepts from jury members Freeman Thomas, Director of Advanced Design at Ford; Victor Nacif, VP of Design at Nissan Design Europe; Geza Loczi, Director of Design at Volvo Monitoring Concept Center; Dave Marek, Advanced Design Director for Honda North America; Steward Reed, Chair of Transportation Design at ACCD; Frank Saucedo, Design Director of GM's Advanced Design Studio in California and Chris Chapman of BMW Designworks USA, the video outlines some of the 2700 entries Michelin has received since the competition's inception in 2002. That year, the MCD display at the NAIAS in Detroit featured cars from European design houses.

Get up close and personal with the David Brown Automotive Speedback

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

The David Brown Automotive Speedback is certainly one of the more intriguing coachbuilt cars we've seen recently -- all the more so because it's a product of Britain, not the carrozzeria hub of Italy. We just got our first glimpse of the Speedback yesterday, and thanks to this XCar video, we can dive a bit deeper into the car's origins and its many design details (unfortunately, there's no on-road footage yet). The Speedback, in the words of DBA founder David Brown, seeks to combine the “classic simplicity of the '60s underpinned by a modern platform with all of the functionality you'd expect from a modern car.” And it does so successfully, from what we can tell so far.

Fiat 500 gets Stop-Start

Fri, 06 Feb 2009

Flavour of the month, stop-start, and here’s another to add to the list. The Fiat 500 gets Start&Stop (I’ve lost count of the different monikers) as an option on the 1.2 Lounge, using Bosch technology to beef up the system to make it reliable. The Stop/Start also gets another Fiat moniker – Blue&Me – which gives the driver EcoDrive to aid emissions and adds hands-free phone and an entertainment system.
