Hyundai i30 3-Door looks good: Paris 2012
Fri, 28 Sep 2012The public debut of the slightly racy looking Hyundai i30 3-Door at the Paris 2012 shows it to be a convincing looking car. Sleeker and more sporty looking than its five door sibling, the 3-door i30 (we’ve said it before, it should be i30 Coupe) offers all the well-built, well thought out and decent looks of the 5-door version, but with a bit more panache. Honda Performance Development: "We're not just body kits and lowering springs anymore!" After two decades in actual racing development, perhaps it was time. HPD has built engines and chassis for IndyCar, American Le Mans Prototypes, Formula Atlantic, and the Continental Sports Car Challenge.
Dodge Durango Special Service police vehicle released, orders now open
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Dodge has added another vehicle to the list of cars drivers should keep an eye out for if they're speeding, the Dodge Durango Special Service. Available for police, fire and “general fleet” customers, the Chrysler Group said it would begin taking orders now, with delivery expected in the second quarter of this year. “We're incredibly excited to add the Dodge Durango Special Service to our lineup of law-enforcement vehicles,” Peter Grady, Chrysler Group vice president of network development and fleet operations, said in a release.
