GM's Henderson: Corvette's future is secure
Wed, 06 May 2009The future of the Chevrolet Corvette is secure, General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson says, even as GM dramatically slashes its size and costs. In an exclusive interview with AutoWeek, Henderson says that not only is the Corvette's current platform undergoing continual development, but the future seventh-generation car, dubbed the C7, also is on track. He would not specify when the C7 Vette would hit showrooms.
Saab back online as NEVS rebuilds the Saab Brand
Sat, 02 Feb 2013The Saab website has now come back online with NEVS (National Electric Vehicle Sweden) outlining its plans to rebuild the Saab Brand. Back in September the long-running Saab Saga was finally concluded, with the sale of what’s left of Saab after Victor Muller’s little adventure saw Saab left as nothing more than another defunct icon brand from the annuls of motoring history, with NEVS taking control of Saab. The plan is to build a range of electric cars in Trollhattan and China, initially based on the Saab 9-3 platform but eventually developing the Phoenix platform in to the basis for Saab’s future.
Citroen Cactus concept (2013) first pictures of Frankfurt crossover

The Citroen C4 Cactus joins the Hyundai ix35 and Kia Sportage in battling the all-conquering Nissan Qashqai soft-roader. The Cactus Concept is the dressed up preview of the production model, which goes on sale in early 2014.
