300hp Nissan Sport Sedan Concept shocks Detroit 2014
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Nissan is 80 years old in 2014, and as part of its birthday celebrations the Japanese firm has unveiled a brand-new Sport Sedan Concept at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. 'Sedan' is the American term for a saloon car – and as the rest of its name suggests, Nissan is aiming to make this four-door far sportier than your average executive express. McLaren confirms limited run of 12C GT Can-Am racers
Mon, 19 Nov 2012It's been a busy weekend for McLaren: not only did Lewis win the 2012 US grand prix, but the car-making division confirmed it would build the most powerful MP4-12C yet – the new 12C GT Can-Am Edition. It's the track-focused 12C racer and Woking has sanctioned a limited run 'of no more than 30 examples.' McLaren MP4-12C Can-Am: the background It's a maxxed-up version of the MP4-12C road car, which has so impressed us since launch. Here the 3.8-litre V8 bi-turbo is derestricted and boasts a maximum power output of 621bhp.
Production BMW i3 EV teased ahead of reveal
Tue, 02 Jul 2013BMW are teasing the production version of the i3 with this silhouette We’re sure there will be a few surprises in store when BMW finally reveals the production version of the electric i3 at the end of July, but does it really warrant a tease? The small BMW i3 City Car has been around since BMW revealed it as a concept (and changed its name from Megacity Vehicle to i3) two years ago. And the production i3 will be revealed two years to the day from the arrival of the i3 concept, on 29th July.
