Cadillac ATS comes to Europe in autumn 2012

Cadillac's ATS compact saloon will go on sale in Europe following the car's centre-stage appearance on the Cadillac stand at the 2012 Paris motor show next month. With provisions made for right-hand drive versions, Cadillac is clearly serious about entering the UK market again, despite the sink-without-trace disappearing act that was the BLS. College Exhibition: IAAD - Yamaha Project

In early September, Transportation Design students from Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design - Turin (IAAD) presented the results of 'Yamaha Next Move', a project sponsored by Yamaha, exploring a personal vision of a Yamaha scooter for the near future. Yamaha guided the students through the next generation of "two wheelers" suggesting two themes: -  Youngsters, two wheels, 50 cc: For kids that can only drive 50 cc, there are many products on the market, but sales are in decline. The project brief included evaluation of the possible causes for lack of interest and offers new solutions, including functional and aesthetic proposals.

BMW recalls the X3 for steering fix

BMW is recalling 50 units of the 2011 BMW X3 for a potential power-steering problem. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a control module in the electric power-steering unit might malfunction, resulting in a sudden loss of power-steering assistance, which could lead to a crash. The suspect X3s were built between April 27 and June 8, 2011.
