Rigid Industries SR Series, single row light bars are the newest addition to Rigid's light bar line. The 20" SR Series LED Combo Light has 20 LED's that produce 6400 raw lumens while only drawing 70 Watts. The combo beam spread has the features of both a spot light and a flood light. The compromise has wide beam pattern of a flood light while also offering the focused distance light you would get with the spot light. The combo light shines up 75 feet in each direction side to side, while reaching a distance over 2500 feet. The SR series is very similar to their E Series, but features only 1 row of LED's instead of 2. These low profile light bars measure only 1.5" tall and use the latest LED technology, highly engineered heat sinks for thermal management, and Rigid's patented hybrid optic systems to offer the most efficient and brightest off road LED light bars. When comparing the SR series and the E series, you will notice that although the SR series has half the number of LED's, it produces more than half the number of raw lumens. This is a function of Rigid's hybrid optics and proper thermal management to effectively draw the heat away from the LED's to ensure the efficiency and 50,000+ hour life. Like all Rigid products, the SR series is designed, engineered and assembled in the United States.

Fiat gets approval to purchase Bertone coachbuilding business
Thu, 06 Aug 2009Fiat S.p.A.'s bid for Carrozzeria Bertone S.p.A. was approved Thursday by the Italian government. Fiat will invest $215.9 million (150 million euros) over three years in the struggling contract manufacturer that has produced models ranging from the Lamborghini Miura to the Volkswagen Polo during its 96 years in business.

Sun, 17 Jun 2012We’ve had the latest version of the Jaguar XJ in for review – the LWB 3.0 litre Diesel Portfolio with Sports Packs – to see how the XJ is maturing. It’s getting on for two years since we had the first Jaguar XJ in for review, and almost three years since we first saw the new XJ at the Saatchi Gallery in London, almost a year before Jaguar managed to get their new range-topper in to showrooms. In between we had a long-term XJ in for review which was with us for four months and proved to be far more reliable than the early car we had in – which did have problems – and a car we covered most the UK in with almost nothing in the way of hiccups.
