Air Horns for Harley-Davidsons will fit on any Harley with a horn mount on the left side of the engine, under the tank. Rivco is the original manufacturer, and they've been producing world-class quality air horns for cruiser bikes for over 17 years! Don't get stuck in a CORNER with cheap imitations! These air horns give a loud warning blast of 128 decibels! Uses the stock horn button. Can be easily installed in 20-30 minutes.  The trumpets have a black satin finish as do the mounts and brackets so the look will last for years to come. They are completely waterproof. No hole drilling is required with bolt-on, plug-in installation. Cone shaped covers are included, which mount to the front of the trumpets. Two year unlimited warranty from Rivco. All kits include two horns, air compressor, relay, simple wiring, and complete installation instructions. The horns replace the stock horn and the compressor is either mounted under the seat, behind right side cover, or on down tube of frame (different models vary).

The air compressor creates instant air pressure to the horns. Since the pressure is created so fast there is no need for a storage tank as on Semi Trucks and RVs. Although the pressure is very low (12-15 psi) it delivers a large volume of air (3 CFM or cubic feet per minute). This low-pressure high volume air supply causes the diaphragm inside the horn to vibrate at a high rate of speed or frequency, the exact speed at which it vibrates is varied by the length of the horn or trumpet. Together the horn set produces an extremely loud 128-decibel warning blast. This is approximately 4 times louder than most electric motorcycle horns, which usually rate at 87 decibels.

Pforzheim University Winter Degree Show 2010

Tue, 23 Feb 2010

Pforzheim University held its winter degree show earlier this month, taking over the Congresshall complex in downtown Pforzheim again, rather than the school itself, which is situated on the outskirts of the town. The German school's exhibition covered projects from five graduating Masters' students and eight BA students, with an increasing number of interior projects being tackled, especially by MA students. The exhibition also included work from first-semester Masters students for a vehicle for the nearby spa town of Bad Herrenalb , as well as a 'My First Mercedes' project from fourth and sixth semester undergraduates.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato rolled out for the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

Fri, 20 May 2011

Aston Martin has rekindled its association with famed Italian design house and coachbuilder Zagato on a rebodied and re-engineered version the V12 Vantage. Set to be one of the stars of this weekend's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato commemorates the 50th anniversary of Aston Martin's first collaboration with Zagato, the DB4GT Zagato. Like that car, the Zagato V12 is planned to be sold in limited numbers, both in road-going form and as a race car--the latter of which is set to make its debut at the N

Chevrolet Volt (2010) teaser pictures

Sun, 17 Aug 2008

By Ben Oliver First Official Pictures 17 August 2008 17:39 General Motors has revealed teaser images of the production version of its radical Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid. The styling echoes the new Chevy Malibu saloon, and the designers claim to have added seven miles to the Volt’s electric-only range by smoothing some of the edges and creases in the original shape. They claim the Volt will now travel 40 miles on electric power, enough for the daily needs of 70 percent of American drivers.
