The patented drill attachment that easily converts cordless, electric and pneumatic drills into blind rivet guns. This innovative new tool allows operators to set up to 14 rivets per minute - twice as many as can be set by standard hand tools. And the new RiveDrill™ is also ergonomically friendly, requiring just 6.6 pounds of pressure to operate, compared to 77.2 pounds required for hand tool operation. The RiveDrill™ can be quickly inserted into a 3/8"-reversible power drill as any standard drill bit would and is able to set any standard blind rivet up to 3/16" aluminum. The shank of the rivet is expelled when the drill is operated in the "reverse" mode. (For cordless electric power drills, a minimum 12v battery is recommended.) DAB radio in cars and the digital switchover
Mon, 22 Nov 2010Britain's motorists face a £1 billion+ bill to fix their car radios so they work after the digital switchover, a CAR Magazine investigation reveals. The Government plans to switch off the FM signal and move the UK's broadcasting industry to DAB digital radios - mirroring the switchover from analogue to digital televisions. The official target for the digital radio switchover is 2015, but many commentators predict that date will slip as there is a great deal of work to be done before Britain is ready.
Kia announces new concept to debut in Frankfurt
Fri, 09 Aug 2013Kia will unveil a new B-segment concept at next month's Frankfurt motor show, following from the similarly sized recent Provo and CUB concepts. The unnamed concept, previewed in two renders, is said to feature a mix of contrasting materials inside the compact car and has been designed in Europe to suit European tastes and expectations. The interior render shows a one-piece seat base for driver and passenger, pierced by a pair of braces that support the IP.
