Sets threaded rivets into thin materials. Use for sheet metal, plastic and fiberglass. Includes 40 SAE 6-32 8-32 10-24 1/4-20 inserts and install heads, 10 of each size. Permanent and reliable fastening. Soft-grip handles. METRIC INSERTS and INSTALL HEADS are NOT available.

REQUIRES ACCESS TO ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE WORKPIECE. NUT CAN BE INSTALLED AFTER PAINTING OR OTHER FINAL FINISHING OPERATIONS/PROCEDURES TO PROVIDE A STURDY SCREW/BOLT ANCHOR POINT, without harming the finish. This eliminates problems usually associated with putting threads into materials like thread cleaning, part cleaning, and distortion.  As some materials are also to thin to support threads on their own.
