 RJS RACING 4 PT LATCH & LINK FLOOR MOUNT HARNESS BUGGY BELT BLUE 4026903This listing is for a RJS Racing Equipment 4 Point Latch and Link Racing Harness. The Harness has a 2" Pull Down Individual Floor Bar Mount Shoulder Harness that Wraps or Bolts to the roll bar running just above the floor or to the chassis behind the seat. The Lap Belts are 3" Pull Down Lap Belts that Bolt to the chassis. This harness is Blue in color but if you would like another color please leave a note or message at checkout. The price is still the same for Black, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Gray, Purple and Hot Pink. These harnesses are manufactured by RJS Racing Equipment out of The Motor City since 1959. One of the last American companies still offering American made products to the world. This item is NOT an overseas cheap manufactured part. Thu, 16 Sep 2010Automotivated, a new exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, traces the evolution of clothes worn in cars--from the bulky circus-tent stuff people had to wear to keep from freezing to death in the jangly, open-topped conveyances of 100 years ago, up to the height of the European Concours in the 1920s and '30s, when what you and your date wore was just as important to winning best of show as the styling of your Delahaye/Delage/Talbot Lago. “In the earliest days of the automobile, you were sitting on the car, you weren't sitting in it,” said Leslie Kendall, curator at the Petersen. So the first section of the exhibit shows people (mannequins dressed as people) in heavy, practical overcoats, scarves and goggles.
Toyota's Lentz to say electronics not to blame for acceleration problems

President James Lentz plans to stick to his guns and tell skeptical lawmakers Tuesday that the company's unwanted acceleration problems do not stem from electronic defects, a copy of his testimony shows. Lentz's reiteration of Toyota's longstanding position suggests that top company executives were unmoved by sharp criticism of that stance Monday by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman.
