This listing is for a New Double Layer 2 Piece Racing Fire Suit. The size is for an Adult XL Jacket & Large Pants. This suit is a Champion 5 Classic RJS Racing Equipment SFI 3-2A/5 Nomex Two Piece suit. Color Black with John Deere Green & Yellow stripes on the arms. The pants are solid black. The suit features matching Black Nomex cuffs on the Jacket and White Cuffs on the Pants. Both the Jacket and Pants have a very soft Nomex inner liner. This 2 Piece suit has a Velcro collar on the Jacket & Pants and both have and an expandable waist and torso so you can sit in a vehicle comfortably. Sewn with Nomex thread and a durable Nomex zipper. Normal retail price would be $499.99 for this suit. I have listed it for a very reasonable price. RJS has been making this suit for over 50 years and unlike the others, it is made in the U.S.A. This is a new item from the overstock inventory. This is the only one I have left so if you like it, buy it, because it will not be listed for very long. Remember if it does not fit, I offer no hassle returns. I will not be able to exchange this item if it does not fit as this is a "One off" item. I will issue a refund if it does not fit. Mon, 19 Sep 2011Toyota Prius plug-in - only around £2.5k more than a regular Prius? Toyota has managed to corner the market in hybrid cars over the last decade after its remarkably prescient decision to focus on ‘Eco’ cars long before the mainstream cottoned on to the changing mood of governments – and car buyers – to the impact cars have on wallets and the environment. We won’t drag out our usual objections to the ceaseless quest for pointless ever-lower CO2 emissions, but we will instead commend the Prius for being a remarkable transport appliance, one which – if driven in a certain manner – can produce remarkable feats of economy and emit pleasingly low levels of the stuff that does real harm – NOx and Particulates.
2013 Nissan LEAF updated
Wed, 21 Nov 2012Nissan has updated the LEAF EV in Japan for 2013 with better range, less weight and a new LEAF S entry-level model. Revealed in Japan – but likely to come to the UK from 2013 when the LEAF starts rolling out of Nissan’s Sunderland factory – there are significant upgrades to the powertrain which result in both less weight and better range. Nissan has had a play with the electric powertrain and made it both smaller and lighter with a new motor that uses 40 per cent less dysprosium (a rare earth metal) than before, and comes in 30 per cent smaller and 10 per cent lighter, and a new streamline battery case and a few other tweaks drops the LEAF’s weight by 80kg.
