Camaro convertible to pace Indy 500
Fri, 21 Jan 2011The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible will serve as the official pace car for the 100th Indianapolis 500. This is the 22nd Chevrolet and the seventh Camaro to pace the Indy 500. The special-edition car goes to auction at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Jan.
Subaru recall hits nearly 634,000 Legacy, Outback, Tribeca and Forester vehicles
Thu, 03 Jan 2013Subaru has issued a recall for 2010 and 2011 Legacy and Outback vehicles, 2006 through 2012 Tribeca crossovers and 2009 through 2012 Foresters. The automaker says that “puddle lights” on those vehicles could, if exposed to an electrolytic fluid like salty water, short circuit and cause a fire. All in all, 633,842 cars and crossovers are included in the recall.
New MINI to be unveiled on 18 November
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The new third-generation MINI Hatch will be revealed at the British brand’s Oxford factory on the 18 November, ahead of a simultaneous showcase at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows two days later. In a nice touch from the BMW-owned carmaker, the special unveiling event will be held 107 years to the day since creator of the original Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born.
