Roadmaster 1625-1 XL Tow Bar Base Plate Bracket for Hyundai Santa Fe 07-09 Camper Trailer RV

Tow Bar Base Plate Bracket Kit for Hyundai Santa FE 07-09.

Why are Roadmaster mounting brackets rated #1?
  • Every bracket design is subjected to computer-simulated Finite Elemental Analysis. ROADMASTER is the only towing products manufacturer to invest in the software and technology that Boeing, Lockheed Martin, GM and NASA use to ensure the integrity of their products. This allows ROADMASTER to offer the safest products possible for your family.
  • Every mounting bracket is custom-made to fit a specific vehicle or range of vehicles, and to attach at logical points along the frame or undercarriage, for maximum strength and a quick, easy installation (in lieu of specific mechanical experience with similar products, professional installation is recommended).
  • Every new bracket (not just a few) in the ROADMASTER Extra Large, MX, AND EZ Twistlock series (the brackets are described below) comes with detachable extensions which are easily removed when the vehicle isn't being towed - no unsightly steel hanging off the front of your car!
  • Every bracket is powder coated. In this process, charged particles of pigment are baked into the surface of the bracket. The particles fuse to the metal and form a lustrous, uniform and extremely durable finish.
  • ROADMASTER is quick to market brackets for new vehicles, and has the widest selection - currently, more than 1000 different mounting brackets (far more than any other company) - which fit more than 2000 different makes and models.
XL Series Hidden Brackets
  • The visible portion of the brackets (the front arms) can be easily removed when not towing - remove two hitch pins to convert from towed car to road car in seconds!
  • They're virtually invisible - improved aesthetics
  • Computer-cut, all-steel components for exceptional strength
  • Easy to install - ROADMASTER brackets use existing attachment points on the vehicle's undercarriage - no welding!
  • Most install through the grille - no scraping brackets in dips or against curbs.
Special Installation Notes:
1. Trimming of spoiler, air dam, grill or plastic fascia may be required on some models of this vehicle.

American muscle and hot rods at SEMA 2013: in pictures

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

As they say in the States, "there aint no replacement for displacement" – a theory all of the vehicles in our SEMA 2013 American muscle and hot rods gallery subscribe to. Some tuners at SEMA use turbocharging and supercharging to achieve massive horsepower levels from modified cars, but not most of the companies behind the tweaks on these American muscle cars and hot rods – green these vehicles most definitely aren’t, mean they most certainly are. One Lap of the Web: The Markchurian Candidate

-- When does a cartoonist become a short-track racer? When he's Bob Englehart of the Hartford Courant, and he writes a book about his childhood in and around Indiana, a childhood spent fixated on oval racers. Englehart, a Pulitzer Prize finalist for his political cartooning, explores why America's youth are willing to risk their lives to drive in circles -- and why he himself is so addicted to it.

One lap of the web: A Lotus superbike, a track-only Z06 and a pair of M cars

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Motorcycle News Lotus has licensed its name for this 200 HP superbike. Motorcycle News is reporting that Lotus, the beloved sportscar manufacturer that launched a thousand acronymic reliability jokes--"L.O.T.U.S, Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious"--has lent its name to a 200 HP, V-twin-powered superbike that is to be manufactured by a new company. While it does wear a lovely JPS-style livery, it's not clear where the lightness has been added or if it's been simplified.
