Spare Tire Carrier

When it comes to a flat tire, "I hope it won't happen to me" isn't much of a contingency plan. But that's all most motorhome owners have to work with because most motorhomes don't carry a spare.

If you're in that group, it's time to get a Spare Tire Carrier — before Murphy's Law kicks in and you find out just how long it can take to find a spare tire 30 miles north of Phoenix. On a Sunday. And how much you're going to pay for it.

Roadmaster's Spare Tire Carrier is a proactive approach to a flat tire.

Features and Benefits

• With a ready-to-go spare, Good Sam Roadside Assistance can get you back on the road quickly.
• Carrying your own spare allows YOU to control the cost.
• Comes with a 2" receiver hitch for a tow bar, hitch rack or other hitch-mounted accessory.
• The carrier can be lowered to either side for engine access or ladder clearance.

Volkswagen iBeetle takes iPhone integration to another level

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

Which is why Volkswagen has rolled out the iBeetle at this week’s Shanghai Motor Show with a level of integration with Smartphones from Apple, and that previews a roll-out of Apple integration from VW, offering far more functionality and control than we’ve seen before. Or at least that’s the VW claim.

Ferrari ramps up engine-making -- for Maserati

Wed, 08 May 2013

Ferrari is adding 250 workers and expanding its engine-building capacity, even as it says it will cut car production this year at its landmark factory in Maranello, Italy. Why the cause for growth? Ferrari is ramping up its in-house engine operation and will produce more V6 engines, which sister company Maserati will use in the redesigned Quattroporte sedan and the smaller E-segment entry, the Ghibli.

Bugatti Royale or Bugatti Bordeaux?

Sat, 18 Jul 2009

A clearer version of the Bugatti invitation - showing a new four-door Veyron? And now Pistonheads has got hold of a clearer version of the invitation – the one you see above. It doesn’t really show a lot more, but you can clearly make out eight exhausts and what seems to be a thin strip of brake lights running down a split rear screen.
