Roadmaster's Four Bracket Styles There are four basic styles of Roadmaster mounting brackets. In some cases, Roadmaster offers more than one style of bracket for a given vehicle. Use our Bracket Search to see which style (or styles) are available for your vehicle. The four different designs are described below.
"Invisible" XLTM Series Brackets Visible portions of bracket can be removed when not towing. Exceptional strength and design Plasma-cut steel parts for custom fit Hitch pins allow quick and easy removal Installs in half the time of most competitors Improved aesthetics over other brackets EZ Twistlock Brackets
Our newest bracket design...offering the best of all worlds It's virtually invisible... ...No unsightly steel hanging off the front of your car It's easy to remove... ...Simply twist the bracket to remove it from your car It comes through the grille... ...No more scraping brackets in dips or against curbs Custom designed for fit and exceptional strength Installs more easily and quickly than competitors Now available for:
Saturn, PT Cruiser, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Pontiac Sunfire, Toyota Echo, and many others.
MXTM & MSTM Series Brackets
MX™ & MS™ Series Brackets are designed specifically for vehicles with heavy-duty frames such as the Suburban and full-size pickups. The MX™ Series has removable/pull-out bracket arms, similar to the XL™ Series brackets. The MS™ Series is just like the MX™ Series brackets except that the arms are not removable. MX™ & MS™ Series Brackets do not require a cross bar (QD base) due to the heavy-duty nature of the vehicle's frame. The elimination of the cross bar simplifies installation, speeds up the hook-up process, and enhances the total appearance. MX™ & MS™ Series Brackets can be used with all Roadmaster motor home-mounted tow bars. Always make sure that the tow bar you choose is rated in excess of the weight of the towed vehicle with all its contents.
Standard Bracket

-- We reported on carbon-fiber wheels almost exactly a year ago. Back then, our Carbon Revolution test also came with a gaggle of obsequious matte-wrapped BMWs against a soundtrack of David Guetta and overpriced exhausts. This latest episode of "Inside Koenigsegg" examines the art of carbon fiber wheels at 280 mph.

Once again, the hinges of the Hell Garage gates -- lubricated with the purest Unobtainium-239 -- creak open and bring us to another installment of Project Car Hell. Last week, we offered two options for your eternal torment, a straight-8 Packard and a straight-8 Buick, and we just love those classic Detroit cars! So much so, in fact, that we're going to stick with Detroit (well, Detroit and Kenosha, if you want to split hairs) and fast-forward the calendar a couple of decades to the Golden Age of Muscle Cars.

General Motors on Thursday posted a $7.6 billion profit for 2011, while recording its smallest quarterly profit of the year in the fourth quarter. Net income for the October-through-December period fell 7 percent from the year-earlier period to $472 million, as a $562 million loss in Europe--the steepest of the year there--weighed on the automaker's bottom line. North American earnings nearly doubled.
