INFORMATION ON ROB ADELBERG

Rob Adelberg, from Benalla, Australia, is one the of the new age FMX riders from Down Under. The 24-year-old, who got his first Red Bull X-Fighters podium with second place in Dubai in 2012, had his first photos published in Freerider MX magazine at the tender age of 14. Back then he was busting out big grab tricks on a CR80, and ever since he has steadily progressed to become one of the best up-and-coming riders in Australia. Rob really knows how to put on a show, can handle the pressure of competitions, and also knows how to throw it down on natural terrain. Rob spent 2009 living at Robbie Maddison’s house in the FMX Mecca of Temecula in California as he looked to push his burgeoning international career forward and make a name for himself in the U.S. After a few successful rounds on the IFMXF Tour, he went back Australia in 2010 to take care of his newborn baby, but he simply couldn’t resist the invitation to the Battersea event in the heart of the British capital. The Red Bull X-Fighters event in London was Rob’s second stop on the World Tour after his appearance in Fort Worth, Texas in 2009. As in 2009 Adelberg was unlucky during the training and crashed hard, knocking him out of the main event. In 2011 Adelberg was able to grab two Wildcards and finally took advantage of the opportunity, snatching a fifth place on home soil. His unique style and strong result at the 2012 tour-opener in Dubai should make Rob a man to watch on in 2013.

German Grand Prix (2013) RESULT

Sun, 07 Jul 2013

The 2013 German Grand Prix (pictured) The expectation for the 2013 German Grand Prix is that even if Vettel can’t win his home Grand Prix for the first time, there should at least be a ‘German’ win with Hamilton in the Mercedes on pole. But Hamilton made a poor start and it wasn’t just Vettel who got past, but Webber too to make it a one-two away from the line for Red Bull. But at Webber’s first pit stop a wheel came off as he pulled away, hitting a cameraman, and by the time he got his wheel joined to the car again he was a lap down.

Good Ideas Salon, Tokyo

To discuss ‘pure living' as a concept, Nissan and trends company PSFK hosted the Good Ideas Salon in Tokyo on 20 October 2009; a moderated conversation between International and local guests explored how pure living manifests itself in design, technology, urban living and transportation. Panelist Marc Alt, founder of Marc Alt + Partners, a strategic agency dedicated to sustainability and social innovation, began the Salon discussion stating that, "Companies and individuals need to understand what it means to be green in their daily lifestyle choices. Sustainability is not just about creating energy-efficient resources, but being more efficient in how we use these resources.

Vauxhall Reveals The Secrets To A Successful Road Trip

Wed, 28 May 2014

A VAUXHALL commissioned survey, entitled ‘Are we nearly there yet?’ has revealed that 93% of 5-18 year olds are occupying themselves with a phone or tablet during long car journeys. However, traditional car games such as i-spy, car snooker and waving at other drivers, are not completely out the window in this modern, electronic age. It seems the survival of the traditional car game has lasted the test of time despite the introduction of new technologies, with over 87% of parents encouraging children to play games not involving technology.
