Second, to open squeeze the top cups towards each other using your upper body and finally clamp onto a surface using both jaws equally. The bottom caps unscrew for access to clean it and for long objects including two fishing poles. The included two strap accessories can be configured in various configurations to hold your gear or to reduce the inner diameter for smaller sized drinks. For maximum clamping capability, the RoboCup can be locked using a 4” plastic cable-tie in the small opening in the jaws but careful not to over tighten.

First Sight: Renault Clio

Fri, 17 Jun 2005

The Clio is perhaps the most successful and certainly the longest standing model of the Renault range and this is the new third-generation version of this European market small B-sector hatchback. When the first generation Clio replaced the Renault 5 in 1990 it was the smallest car in the Renault line up, now the Clio is one of a small range of similarly-sized Renault models all based off the same platform shared with the Nissan Micra/March and Cube.   Specification The Clio will be launched first as a three-door with the five-door to follow, and will be available with a choice of petrol 1.2-litre (75hp), 1.4-litre (98hp) and 1.6-litre (113hp), and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine in a choice of three power outputs: 70hp, 86hp and 106hp.

Thomas Ingenlath: Volvo Concept C to end 'vanilla' design era [w/Video]

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Volvo has promised a radical change in its future design language that will be embodied in its Concept C coupé, the first concept to be developed since head of design Thomas Ingenlath's appointment in July 2012. Our first look at the concept, which debuts at this month's Frankfurt motor show, comes from a video starring Ingenlath (see left). At first it seems to just show him sketching while he explains how some people see Volvo design as "vanilla" – nice, but not iconic or cutting-edge – but if we slow it down at around the 11-second mark, we get a preview of what we can expect.
