Vintage Rochester 1-barrel carburetor, no ID tag and base does not have a stamp number. Carb core appears to be mostly complete. All linkage moves free. Has 1-9/16" throttle bore and mounting bolt holes center to center measure 3". Good for rebuilding or parts.

Carb will ship USPS priority box or medium flat rate box depending on your shipping address location.

Holt Ware becomes Design Director at GM-PATAC

Holt Ware has been appointed to design director at GM's Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) joint venture in Shanghai, China. He replaces Friedhelm Engler who has since relocated to Germany to lead the Advanced Design Studio, a position vacated by Anthony Lo earlier this year. Ware's new role at GM-PATAC puts him in charge of designers and modelers working in China's leading automotive engineering and design facility.

Infiniti Emerg-e on the move at Goodwood FoS

The Infiniti Emerg-e range-extender supercar will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this month and tackle the hillclimb. We’re still not sure that Infiniti really know where they’re heading in the UK and Europe, but perhaps recent changes at Infiniti PR will help make things clearer? But one thing Infiniti are doing that makes real sense is the Infiniti Emerg-e range extender supercar we saw at Geneva in the Spring as a potential range-topper for the Infiniti range.

German custom shop creates vinyl wrap celebrating Ayrton Senna

It was 18 years ago on May 1 that Ayrton Senna crashed his Williams Formula One car and died during the San Marino Grand Prix. German customizer Cam Shaft is celebrating the man on the anniversary of his demise with a new vinyl wrap for an old Lotus Esprit. Senna drove for the Lotus team from 1985 to 1987 in the notable black-and-gold John Player Special Lotus 97T.
