    Standard Return Policy Overview

                                               

    You may return merchandise  purchased from Buy12volt for a refund or a replacement, provided that the  procedures and requirements are followed. All returns require a return  merchandise authorization (RMA) number. An RMA number must be issued within 60  calendar days after the date of purchase. An RMA number is valid for 14 calendar  days after it is issued.

    Buy12volt Warranty Policy

    Buy12volt will honor a 60-Day limited  warranty on "Brand New, Factory Sealed" products which are not under  manufacturer warranty. These items must be returned to buy12volt, not their  original manufacturer. All warranty claims must be made through buy12volt  customer service.

    Refurbished product Warranty Policy

                                               

    Buy12volt will  honor a 60-Day limited warranty on products labeled as "Refurbished", "Factory  Reconditioned", or "Open Box". These products must be returned to Buy12volt  and not their original manufacturer.

    Part & Accessory Warranty Policy

                                               

    Buy12volt offering 60 Days  exchange/Refund Policy for returns. Buyer must return defective item(s) within  60days after package(s) received. There will be a minimum of 15% restocking fee  and will be charged for the shipping.  The items must be in new condition. Damage caused during installation is not  considered as product deficiency and will not be covered by warranty. Any  returns made without an RA number will be sent back at the shipper's expense. We  will exchange any defective products. Refunds are not available for defective  and opened products.Buyers pay for all return shipping costs.     Speakers and Subwoofers Warranty Policy

                                               

    Speakers and subwoofers  that have been installed by a certified professional and have been found to be  defective can be returned within 60 days of the original ship date for warranty  replacement.
    Additional shipping costs may apply and the assessment of such  costs is at the sole discretion of Buy12volt

    Speakers and subwoofers that have been abused or misused are ineligible  for warranty replacement. Abuse and misuse as defined by Buy12volt includes  but is not limited to:

  • Blown Woofers 
  • Burnt or blackened voice coils
  • Melted adhesives 
  • Coils lacking continuity or separated from the former 
  • Punctured or damaged surrounds 
  • Bent, chipped or broken frames 
  • Worn or Broken terminals 
  • Frayed or disconnected wires 
  • Ripped spiders 
  • Damaged back plates.                                             
  • Speakers and subwoofers that have been abused or misused and are considered  out of warranty will be returned at the buyer's expense.                                                   

    Warranty will not covered if :

                                                   

    Misuse, abuse, defacement, physical  damage of any kind, and improper installation / operation.
    Video and  multimedia equipment with damaged or cracked screens.
    Subwoofers and speakers  are not warranted against being blown, burned or abused.
    buy12volt  defines speaker/subwoofer abuse as, but not limited to, burnt voice coils  (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former,  etc.) punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, bent, chipped or  broken frames, ripped spiders or damaged back plates.

                                                   

                                                   

    Submitting items for warranty in any of the above conditions will result in  refusal of any associated warranty requests and return shipping will be charged  to have item returned at customer's expense.

                                                   

    Buy12volt shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use,  installation or removal and re-installation charges associated with defective or  returned product. Products that have been improperly installed may not be  covered by this or any other warranty.

                                                   

    Dead on Arrival (DoA) Claims

                                                   

    Must be submitted within 7 days to  be eligible for a replacement or refund.
    Professional installation receipt documentation is  required for all dead on arrival claims.
    Some manufacturer's have no  replacement warranty and can only be sent for repair.

                                                   

    Refunds

                                                   

    A processing fee of 15 percent will apply to the value of  merchandise returned for a refund and will be charged for the shipping.  Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days  after our receipt of the returned merchandise.  We will only refund the value of the merchandise returned, not the  shipping cost. On items with free shipping returned for a refund, the original  shipping cost that we paid the shipping carrier will be deducted from your  refund.

                                                   

    Exchanges

                                                   

    If you purchased a product that you wish to exchange for  an alternate item, you can return the item for a refund and simply place a new  order for the item you desire. We do not apply store credit to your new  purchase. If we see a new purchase for equal or greater value of your return, we  will waive the 15 percent processing fee.

                                                   

    Defective Merchandise

                                                   

    Merchandise that is discovered to be  defective upon receipt will be replaced. You may also return defective  merchandise for a refund; however, a 15 percent processing fee will apply and will  be charged for the shipping.  The processing fee will only apply if you choose to return the merchandise for a  refund. No fee will be assessed if we are permitted to resolve the issue by  replacing your defective merchandise. If we find no defect for defective returns  a $30.00 testing fee will be charged.

                                                   

    Damaged Merchandise

                                                   

    All packages are inspected for damage prior to  leaving our warehouse. If your merchandise is damaged during shipment by the  shipping courier, please contact us immediately as we must be informed within 10  calendar days from the date of receipt for all damage/shipping related claims.  Damaged merchandise can be replaced with the same model only. You may also  return damaged merchandise for a refund; however, a 15 percent processing fee  will apply and will be charged for the shipping.  The processing fee will only apply if you choose to return the merchandise for  a refund. No fee will be assessed if we are permitted to resolve the issue by  replacing your damaged merchandise.

                                                   

    Return Shipping

                                                   

    The cost to return merchandise to buy12volt for  refunds, exchanges, warranties, and Death on Arrival(DOA) products is the sole responsibility of  the customer and any charges, taxes, duties, or fees associated with the return  shipment will not be reimbursed. This cost can be equated to the cost of driving  back to any local retail store to complete a return.

                                                   

                                                   

    Customers are not liable for shipping charges if the incorrect item was  shipped or if an item has been damaged/lost in transit by the carrier. Refunds  for lost or damaged packages will be issued after a claim has been filed, and  approved by the carrier and buy12volt has received final confirmation of  payment.
    If an item you received is defective, we will definitely replace the  item with a new one; however, we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for  returning defective merchandise back to our store. We will ship the replacement  product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the  replacement order is processed quickly.

                                                   

    Replacement Terms

                                                   

    We will send a product replacement for an  authorized return following the completion of receiving and inspection at our  facility. The replacement will ship within four business days following our  receipt of your return (excluding weekends and national holidays). We do not  send advance replacements or replacements before we receive and inspect the  returned merchandise.
    To receive a replacement quicker, you may place a new  order for the same item (shipping not included), and we will issue a refund for  the full value of the returned product (including shipping), upon completion of  our return process.

                                                   

    Returning Items

                                                   

    Please click "Return it Now" Button at bottom of  description page on ebay listing to request an RMA number. You will be required  to complete our product return form which will also provide helpful instructions  for your return.
    All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and  must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be  intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals  (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), and all instruction booklets and  paperwork. The RMA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or  printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any  of these conditions are not followed.

    Return Exceptions

                                                   

    Although our return policy is quite flexible on  most items, there are some exceptions, as written below:

  • Any product not purchased from buy12volt
  • Any product without a valid, readable serial number, including but not  limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable  serial number
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories,  including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally  included with the product
  • Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its  packaging
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage or abuse
  • Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate
  • Products that are not eligible for return for any of the above reason(s)  will be sent back to you at your cost and expense.

     

    All the warranty items must be returned to our facility to begin warranty  service. We then send your item to the manufacturer for or authorized  manufacturer service center in our territory for warranty service.
