Chevrolet updates Impala logo

Chevrolet has announced that its 2014 Impala will feature a redesigned emblem as the latest evolvement of the range's African antelope logo. The Impala model is one of only two vehicles – the other being the Corvette and its crossed-flags – in Chevrolet's range to have its own exclusive symbol, and thus it has been upgraded to complement the design of the latest model. Details of UK's £5000 Plug-In Car Grants published

The Government has signed off the Plug-In Car Grants, giving details of which electric cars qualify for the £5000 grants. The incentive means that cars such as the Vauxhall Ampera will cost £28,995, GM confirmed today. Transport secretary Philip Hammond and business minister Mark Prisk announced the scheme and confirmed which areas will qualify for the second round of Plugged-In Places funding - allowing councils to install electric car recharging networks.

New photos of Tesla Model S show more aggressive style

Tesla dropped some new photos of the Model S Alpha sedan on us on Monday, and the car is looking more like a production vehicle every day. The shots show a Tesla Model S in a shade of black sporting a new front fascia with a lower, sharper, more aggressive look. It includes some vents for possible brake or engine cooling purposes, along with the same 10-spoke fan-blade wheels as the concept car.
