This is for one used Roofbag Explorer 15 cubic-foot car top carrier bag.  It is grey in color and comes with the straps needed to connect the bag to a vehicle with at least side rails (the straps will also work if you have crossbars).  It also comes with the storage bag, the protective mat, and three of the Roofbag duffle bags which are basically an inner bag that you use to better organize and pull out/put back the stuff you're hauling.  If you go to the Roofbag website product listing, you'll immediately see a good description and picture of each of these items.

I purchased this brand new directly from the Roofbag website in the summer of 2014 and I have used it for four trips and has been a great way to get some extra storage space without breaking the bank.  The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I was gifted a hard Yakima box that offers even more space.

Roofbag advertised this bag as being 99% waterproof and I would tend to agree with them.  It lets in a little bit of moisture if the rain gets really heavy, but otherwise it is pretty good at keeping out the elements.  During our first trip with it, the outer polymer layer showed some crazing where the wind had flexed it back and forth.  I was concerned it would let in water, but I discovered my fears were unfounded just a few hours later when we hit our first rainstorm and everything inside was dry as a bone.  During out last use in July 2016, we hit an absolute torrential downpour at highway speeds which lasted for two solid hours.  I was expecting everything inside was going to be soaked, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that only a bit of moisture got in near the front corners.

The bag has stood up pretty well over out trips.  As I mentioned above, there is some crazing in the outer polymer layer in a few areas where the wind flexes the material, but the crazing doesn't seem to alter the function of the bag at all.  Also, the bag has some slight smudging from bugs and road grime which doesn't seem to wipe away.

The BMW 1 Series ActiveE Concept BMW are ramping up their foray in to electric cars with the reveal of the BMW 1 Series Concept ActiveE which will show at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and takes the company a step further along the electric car line than the MINI E. The programme has not been without problems including charging issues and poor range, but BMW are quite upfront about this being about seeing how the electric cars work in the real world.
