Lower 48 states, Continental U.S. shipping fee and the handling service fee is flat rate amount shown in shipping costs above. ***PLEASE BE AWARE*** There is potential to encounter problems with this "Rebuilt Old Stock" carburetor...it is NOT a fresh rebuild and the company that rebuilt it is out of business. It is sold as is.

***UP FOR AUCTION*** You are bidding on a long ago REBUILT, Motorcraft brand, 4 barrel carburetor. The code on the rebuilder's box is 4-632. According to my old carburetor catalogs, this is the "4350 series" carburetor used on 1975-1976 Ford, Mercury, Lincoln and Thunderbird vehicles equipped with 428, 429 and 460 cubic inch, V8 engines. THIS MAY BE A WONDERFUL RESTORATION PIECE FOR THAT MID 70's, Torino or T-Bird V8. I do think that this carburetor can be used on other year and model FoMoCo engines with 4 barrel carburetors. It looks somewhat adaptable. According to my research, there are still some of these FORD V8 powered "CLASSIC" vehicles in collectors circles and this is a good looking rebuilt carb at a bargain price. You may want one as a spare just for the parts. This unit was in packaged warehouse storage for over 30 years. Fortunately, those years in a "climate controlled warehouse" were kind to this piece...it looks GOOD for its age...It does exhibit oxidation, rust, dust and grime due to the box lid being open for many years. Study photos for general condition of this item. You will receive what is shown in photos. This carb is old stock from an auto parts warehouse. You or a carburetor repair specialist MAY need to clean and refurbish it a bit...AGAIN, it was rebuilt over 30 years ago and has been sitting in storage ever since..."common sense"...it may need to be re-conditioned. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY and THERE IS NO RETURN. Please use the photos as a guide and do some "CAREFUL" research on your own. Is this the correct carb for your classic FoMoCo vehicle? Please be sure you want this part before you bid.

How Lexus execs rescued the GS sedan

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Eighteen months ago, Toyota had all but scrapped its plans for the redesigned Lexus GS 350 sedan that was unveiled in Monterey, Calif., last week. At the time, the company was pouring engineering resources into resolving its unintended acceleration crisis and was busy changing quality and safety procedures. Plus, the GS' underwhelming sales in the United States and Europe made for a weak business case against the Mercedes E-class and BMW 5-series.

Kia Niro concept (2013) first official pictures

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

Kia’s radical new concept car is the Niro crossover, complete with butterfly doors, two-tone tyres and a Blake 7 cockpit in the best show car tradition. Look past the design flourishes, though, and you’ll see this is a statement of intent for Kia’s next niche car: a supermini-sized crossover to fight the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, and Vauxhall Mokka. Kia Niro: what’s in a name?
