You are looking at a professionally remanufactured
carburetor from United Remanufacturing. From core to finished product, this
carburetor was rebuilt to factory pre-set internal and external settings. In
addition, this carburetor was tested on an engine simulator to ensure OEM specs
are met or exceeded. This unit was rebuilt quite some time ago, therefore once the unit is purchased we will re-test the quality on our engine simulators prior to sending out.
Fits: 1966 AMC Rambler with 199 OHV Engine. This is a 1 barrel Holley 1931 style carburetor with a list # of R-3250.

The aluminum block unit, the first in a new range of so-called SIDI (spark ignition direct injection) ECOTEC engines, forms the centerpiece of the company's downsizing strategy for displacement. The engine is claimed to have improved torque characteristics and a significant reduction in consumption compared with its predecessor.
