  • All kits include special heavy-duty pistons, which are designed and manufactured to perform flawlessly under the extreme heat and PRESSURE associated with turbocharged engines. Ideal for both street and serious competition, these pistons are loaded with extra features such as annular pin hole grooves with double forced oil holes to prevent pinhole galling, and taper lands to prevent scuffing. Extra thick lands for superior ring groove support under extreme pressure are made possible by intersecting the ring groove with the pinhole and using ROSS Oil Ring Support Rails. 4340 taper bore, hard-chromed extra heavy duty pins, along with Ross Racing Rings are also included.

While the streamlined, electric two-seat Aptera 2e may be one of the most efficient cars ever designed, the process of getting it to market is becoming a little less efficient. Original plans had the 2e going on sale this year, but the company said on Wednesday that the car will be available to consumers starting in 2010. No specific date was set.

The Jaguar C-X17 concept will preview one of the brand's upcoming pair of SUVs, as well as its new modular aluminum platform that will underpin its next generation of cars. The teaser picture accompanying the press release doesn't give a huge amount away in terms of aesthetics, but familiar Jag elements such as the fender haunches and F-Type-style rear lamps suggest this will be instantly recognizable as a Jaguar. Its emphasis will be more on road performance than off-road ability in order to ensure it drives as a Jaguar should and also to avoid stepping on the toes of sister company, Land Rover.
