This item is a brand new complete set of 8 Ross Racing Pistons for a small block chevy  engine using 17 or 18 degree cylinder heads.  Bore size is 4.043", Compression height is 1.511", Dome volume is 16.7cc's.  It is a solid dome piston.  Rings are 1/16", 1/16", and 3/16".  These pistons have the pin oiler feature.  Wrist pin dimensions are .927" by  2.950".  Pins are not included, pin locks are.  Piston weight is 548 grams.  Ross uses 2618 T-61 aluminum in all of their pistons.  These pistons were ordered for a 308 cubic inch sbc with 18 degree heads.  Stroke was
3.000", a 6.000" rod, 1.511 compression height, on a 9.025 block the piston will be .014" down in the hole. 
They are brand new and unwrapped from their original packaging and are perfect in every way. This is a $690 set of pistons from Ross.  You will never see them for less money !!  Thanks !

In a competition that "took hot-rodding back to its SoCal roots," the SoCal Speed Shop--the entity founded by original hot-rod hero Alex Xydias and now helmed by Pete Chapouris--finally won the AMBR. That's AMBR, as in, America's Most Beautiful Roadster, the most sought-after title in all of hot-rodding and the crowning glory of the Grand National Roadster Show. There is that competition at the Detroit Autorama that hands out the Ridler Award, but that is open to all manner of kustom kars.

The Toyota Etios launches in Delhi We brought you the Toyota ‘Blockbuster’ video for the new Toyota Etios yesterday and expected the new emerging-markets car to launch in Delhi tomorrow. But they’ve been and gone and done it today, and although it couldn’t possibly live up to the hype, it’s not a bad looking car at all. Much of what we said yesterday stands.

Nissan have developed 'Driver Assist' to make crashes a things of the past Driver Assist uses GPS to track the car’s progress, and set it up in advance on twists and turns in the road. The system uses integral sensors to check how the driver is setting the car up for the corner and adjusts the settings if the driver is not getting it right. It can correct over or under steer by applying braking to any of the wheels individually and even adjust the torque to make sure the car goes where the driver intends.
