“Good seats with headrest sockets. Have been reupholstered , but was a good job, leaving shape of seats intact, some foam damaged on drivers' sest. Have good mechanisms that recline,unlike most. Backs same matching. Also includes one totally original back squab as a pattern”

This is an original  pair of Rover 2000 or 2000TC front and rear seats. Unlike most, they have good reclining mechanisms. They were reuphlstered in cloth and vinyl, but it was well done, preserving the shape of the seats. They were stored in my warehouse for decades, until I bought a GMC pickup truck, and could not stand the Billy Bob Bench seat, so fitted these. Rover P6 seats are the best seats in the world, but I had to hop up into the seat, not down as in a Rover, so that slowly damaged foam on LF seat cushion. They were used in the truck about 2 years, then back in my warehouse..They should be reupholstered, and that foam repaired. Also, I have included one Very rare original back cushion, with original Scottish leather, to show your upholsterer how they were originally made..It has been in my warehouse about 40 years..I have  many other  Rover parts, including bonnet and body panels; and hundreds of parts for all British cars 1950-1994, on my eBay store.. Adaptive steering for big Fords arrives on new Edge

It's a further sign that what was once the high-tech preserve of the German brands is now firmly in the mainstream. BMW was one of the brands which pioneered variable-ratio power steering; in essence, it changes the ratio between the driver's inputs at the wheel and the rate at which turns are made at the rack.

Chevrolet WTCC Ultra concept

Chevrolet has released a sketch of their WTCC Ultra concept that will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in three weeks. Styled by Ewan Kingsbury of GM Australia, who also worked on the Holden Torana, the concept was further developed in Europe to produce a fully working prototype, while the engine comes from Korea and the body from Japan. The international collaboration demonstrates the breadth of GM's resources, and has resulted in Chevrolet's vision of a new generation of World Touring Cars.
