2014 Jaguar XJ updates announced

The 2014 Jaguar XJ (pictured) gets a number of updates Updates come along every year for cars as manufacturers look to keep up with the competition. But the updates for the 2014 Jaguar XJ are perhaps more relevant this year with the arrival of the new Mercedes S-Class, as Jaguar try to keep the now ageing XJ an attractive offering. But Jaguar have concentrated more on the feel than the look of the XJ with its 2014 upgrades, so there are no real cosmetic differences.

Skoda Octavia (2013): first official pictures

This is the new 2013 Skoda Octavia. For its third generation, the Octavia gets its cleanest, most efficient engines yet and the full gamut of tech upgrades available on the new Mk7 Golf - all wrapped up in a more sober, Czech-style package. The new Octavia is also lighter than the old car and, with the arrival of the mid-sized Rapid, has grown from family hatch proportions to fight the Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Insignia.

We’ve been reporting on the Jota for quite some time (and on the halo Lamborghini we expect it to spawn – the Lamborghini Urus) so there are likely no huge surprises – except just how it’s going to look.
