Phones topple tailgating as most hated driving habit

THERE’S a new ‘hate’ at the top of drivers’ lists, after a study from Kwik Fit showed that using a phone at the wheel has overtaken the long-standing bad habit of tailgating. Talking or texting while driving is hated by 47% of drivers, according to the research; comfortably ahead of tailgating on 42%. It’s the first time that following too closely has been knocked off its seriously irritating perch in years.

The 2014 Skoda Octavia Scout (pictured) debuts at Geneva A more rugged, pseudo off-road estate car is a sensible compromise for buyers looking for a bit more ruggedness than a regular estate car offers, but without going to a full-blow SUV or Crossover. Suzuki's C segment Crossover headed for Geneva

Suzuki has released the first two images of its new C Segment Crossover ahead of its premiere at next month's Geneva show. Unfortunately, apart from the two renders Suzuki has revealed little else about the car other than the fact that it's based on the S-Cross concept that we saw at last September's Paris show. We'll only find out what the car's name is in Geneva.
