Condition:For parts or not working

ARC RT-359A Transponder just removed from my personal aircraft I have owned for 15 years for an avionics upgrade.

In June 2016 this unit was inspected and repaired by a certified repair station at a cost of $559 after  reported intermittent by ATC.  A transistor and resistor were replaced and the receiver was aligned, bench tested and certified as meeting manufacturer's specs under Part 43 Appdx. F.  It was given an airworthiness release and a fresh transponder test certificate. After the repairs were completed the transponder appeared to operate normally at first - however ATC again reported lost reception.  I elected to replace it with a digital transponder.  I am not sure what  caused the problem so this unit is listed for sale in "as is" no warranty parts only condition.  (The winning buyer will receive copies of the paperwork pictured plus the unit and tray).

Photo is of actual item.  Thanks for looking .  No Reserve.

Besides, Subaru’s WRC outfit isn’t exactly competitive these days.
