So from here on, performance gains will come from using lighter materials to reduce vehicle weight, instead of from chasing more engine thrust. Which was a bit of an odd time to celebrate, we thought, especially as Murcielago 4099 rolled of the line back in May. But the news – it transpires – was timed to coincide with a parade of the finest V12 Lamborghinis around Sant’Agata Bolognese to celebrate Lamborghini’s finest creations.
