1 1/8" or 1" ( Now comes with both.)

Fully Automated Bilge Pump

Rule introduces the rule-mate™ series of bilge pumps.

The rule-mate consists of a powerful rule bilge pump and a new non-mecury float switch in a single housing.

While fully automated, the pump will only turn on when the water level rises.

There is no cycling and battery drain.

The pump remains off until the internal float switch rises.

The pump then stays on until the water is evacuated.

The pump's internal computer senses no load (Water) against the impeller and then shuts off.

A detachable strainer provides easy access to the impeller area for removal of debris.

Each pump is easily installed with the pump and switch internally wired.

A third wire allows the pump to be connected to a manual override switch if so desired.

The rule-mate bigle pump is thoughtfully designed, and due to its compact profile, can be used in practically all bilge pumping applications.

Ken Block & Mini-Me – the Video

Sun, 06 Sep 2009

Ken Block & Rob Dyrdek Driving & Drifting The last report we did on Ken Block was after he delighted Top Gear’s James May with his antics in California, but now we have what can probably best be described as a comic teaser for what will be his next big video outing – Gymkhana 3.0. In this video – dubbed Gymkhana 2.1 – Ken Block gets a new sidekick – professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek – who takes to a ‘Mini-Me’ kart version of Ken’s WRX Subaru in a playful drifting and playing game. The video is full of amusing comparisons, but just in case you don’t get it’s supposed to be funny we get treated to the Benny Hill theme tune – you know, the one where Benny gets chased in quick-time by a bunch of be-stockinged lovelies.

Senate committee sends auto-safety bill to the floor for vote

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

The Senate Commerce Committee voted today to pass a far-reaching vehicle safety bill that has largely won both automaker and consumer support, sending the measure to the full Senate. The bill passed without objections from any senators. The legislation, crafted in the wake of Toyota's safety recalls this year, resembles a House bill that also is now on the floor of that chamber.

Vauxhall Rake concept (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 13 Sep 2011

Alongside the Astra GTC and Zafira Tourer, Vauxhall (and thus Opel) is unveiling something a little more ‘out there’ at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It’s this tiny city car, known by Vauxhall as RAK e, and which we’re going to call the Rake. The name is a modern take on the Rak 2, a rocket-powered Opel that hit 140mph in 1928.
