Our sand-cast foundry has been called "the most state-of-the-art foundry west of the Mississippi." In 2007 we will be adding a new Permanent Mold and Heat Treat facility next to our existing sand cast foundry, an over 8 million dollar commitment to "Made in USA" products and performance. In October 1999, we moved our warehouse into a new Distribution Center. All shipping and receiving operations were relocated to provide room for the expansion of our cylinder head, water pump and manifold manufacturing area at the main facility. Vic's Garage is located in the Distribution Center and houses the Company's collection of street rods and classic cars, as well as our extensive collection of historic photos and archives. They were moved to the shock facility in the spring and we are pleased to welcome the Russell employees to "The Fun Team." Land Rover Defender Black Pack and Silver Pack options revealed
Wed, 19 Feb 2014The Land Rover Defender (pictured) gets new options Whilst Land Rover are busy deciding exactly what the next generation Land Rover Defender will offer when it arrives – probably in 2016 now – they’re not forgetting the current Defender. Heading for s debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month are two new option packs for the Defender – Black Pack and Silver Pack – as well as new extras and options on other Defenders in the range. The new Defender Black Pack comes with a Santorini black paint job for the roof, grille, wheelarches and headlamp surrounds, ‘Defender’ script on the bonnet, Privacy glass, Alston headlining and a choice of gloss black Sawtooth alloys or gloss black heavy duty wheels.
New Mercedes CLA photos & new Mercedes 4MATIC 4WD – UPDATED
Thu, 13 Dec 2012We have the first official photos of the new Mercedes CLA and news of a new Mercedes 4MATIC 4WD system for Mercedes’ smaller cars. The new Mercedes CLA – the baby CLS based on the new A Class and previewed by the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe we saw at the Beijing Motor Show - will arrive at the Detroit Auto Show in January (and be followed by the CLA 45 AMG at Frankfurt in Autumn 2013), and will come with a new Mercedes 4MATIC four wheel drive system. To herald the arrival of the new CLA and the new 4MATIC system, Mercedes has released details of the new 4MATIC system and sent us the first official photos of the production CLA – albeit with the usual swirly black and white camouflage – to illustrate where their new 4WD system will arrive.
Porsche Macan caught on video
Wed, 01 Aug 2012The Porsche Macan – a Porsche Cayenne on a boil wash – has been spied out testing and caught on video. We’ve seen spy photos of the Porsche Macan before – Porsche’s take on the Audi Q5 – and they look more like a cut down Cayenne being used as a mule for the Macan’s underpinnings than an actual Macan. But it seems that the shots so far are actually the Macan as it’s heading for production, which means Porsche has, perhaps unsurprisingly, chosen the 911 school of car design as its inspiration for the Macan and just stuck a Cayenne on a boil wash.
