Russell Day-Long Touring Saddle for the R1200C This is a custom seat based on an OEM/Stock BMW R1200 seat pan. It is a vast improvement on comfort in comparison to the stock saddle. I sold my R1200 so I do not need this saddle anymore. Originally purchased for over $700, you can now get it through this auction for far less. I'm unsure if it will fit other R1200 models, like the CL and CLC. Best to ask an expert on those models before bidding. UPDATE - New Photos added (new, pretty, clearer ones :)

Toyota FT-86 II: Now Toyota mean it. Really

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

Toyota FT-86 II at Geneva Toyota has been threatening to produce an affordable sports car for quite a while. And when we first saw the Toyota FT-86 Concept at the end of 2009 (and in the flesh at Goodwood last summer) we’d expected to see it launch this year. Despite that expectation, we discovered in January that Toyota were actually taking a different concept to Geneva – the Toyota FT-86 II – dashing any hopes of the FT-86 in any shape or form hitting the road this year.

Mazda MX-5 Superlight concept at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Fri, 11 Sep 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 11 September 2009 09:30 To celebrate 20 years of the MX-5, Mazda has produced this special Superlight concept which be unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show next week. Mazda started with the facelifted version of its third-gen sports car and pared it back to basics to create an uncompromising sub-1000kg two-seater sports car. According to project lead designer Hasip Girgin, the challenge was 'to evolve the MX-5, developed to perfection during the last 20 years, to a higher and extreme level.' As such, Mazda seems to be treating the MX-5 Superlight like a portly Caterham, claiming the lack of a windscreen and roof makes the driver and passenger feel more connected with the environment.

Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.
