EPDM is extremely flexible, much like a tire inner tube but much thicker in this application and extremely strong.  With regular cleaning and maintenance EPDM is projected to last 20 years.  EPDM is an excellent insulator.  It has over 350% elongation and it's performance characteristics are stable in temperature ranges from -50 to 240 degrees Fahrenheit before failure. The EPDM membrane also exhibits over 1,300 lbs psi tensile strength and 150 psi tear strength. Though there are other types of roofing membrane material in the marketplace today, none of them meet all the positive characteristics, ease of handling and price of EPDM.


White on Black EPDM has been installed on RV's since 1983. Due to low maintenance, ease of repair, clean appearance, noise insulation, and temperature insulation, white on black EPDM roofing membranes are now standard on 3 out of 4 new RV's. Now the energy efficiency of white on black EPDM has been discovered for uses such as house boat roofs, mobile home roofs, residential flat or low pitched house roofs, sheds, pump houses, dog houses and even used for rain gutter liner.  It is great for plant bed liner to hold back weeds and can also be made into an excellent heavy duty all-weather tarp by adding reinforced grommets.   Note: White on black EPDM membrane is not designed for heavy foot traffic.  

White on Black EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) roofing membrane is a flexible rubber material which has superior flexibility and high strength. EPDM can easily contour to unusual roof shapes. White on Black EPDM is sold in sheets up to 10' wide and up to 100’ long, and can be seamed for wider applications.



 
                                  



'Rat run' short cuts make journeys slower

DRIVERS taking "rat-run" short cuts could actually be making their journeys slower, according to a survey. Congestion at the busiest times on local roads is twice as bad as on main highways, the poll from traffic information company TomTom found. It also revealed that traffic congestion in cities across the UK has got significantly worse over the past year.
