For Sale - 2nd set of NO GOOD refrigerator coils for an RV Refrigerator "rebuilt" by NUCOLD Refrigerator of Morrilton Arkansas.
I purchased a rebuilt cooling unit for my RV refrigerator from NUCOLD Refrigeration in April 2014. The cost was $820.00 and come with a 2 year warrantee. I installed the cooling unit as per the instructions supplied by Jerry Collins of NUCOLD Refrigeration. The system seemed to work. We never used our RV during the summer in Idaho so when we arrived to our winter residence in Arizona we found the cooling unit would not keep things cool, but the freezer portion would freeze to -6 deg. When I contacted Jerry Collins of NUCOLD, he said he would take care of everything and had me remove the cooling unit and send it back to NUCOLD. I removed the unit and sent the cooling unit on 10/25/2014 via truck freight. When the cooling unit arrived to NUCOLD, Jerry Collins refused the shipment after he said he would pay for the shipping back to him. Only after agreeing to pay half of the shipping cost would he accept the unit. My cost was $189.25 even though Jerry Collins of NUCOLD said he would pay the shipping. We had to live out of a camping cooler until 11/17/2014 when I had to purchase a new refrigerator so we could lead a some what normal life. Since I had sent my cooling unit back to NUCOLD Refrigeration I had only gotten lies, false promises on what the status was on my warrantee repair for my refrigerator coils. I have sent many E-Mails, numerous phone calls, promises to call me right back, and "my unit has been sent" promises. When I contacted UPS Freight and ask if any shipment had been sent from NUCOLD to me there wasn't any record of anything being sent. When I confronted Jerry Collins, owner of NUCOLD, I was informed he would get back to me in just a few minutes. The constant lies, poor service, the lack of honest business practices, and customer service is severely lacking with Nucold Refrigeration. I do not recommend any future customer doing business with this company. In mid December, after filing a complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General as well as the Better Business Bureau, Jerry Collins sent a cooling unit that (surprise surprise) doesn't work. I've contacted the Arkansas Attorney General's office and Better Business Bureau for resolution of this matter and suggest anyone in the same predicament do the same. That is how I have come to sell this non-working unit on eBay. Please check NUCOLD Refrigeration Company out through the Arkansas Better Businesses and Arkansas Attorney General's office. Don't make the same mistake I or many many of his other customers have made ... Do Not do businesses with Jerry Collins or NUCOLD Refrigeration without checking the two businesses mentioned above. Do Not BID on these coils without first contacting me. I also have the refrigerator that are connected to these no good coils. Thank you. |

Bentley & Lamborghini SUV on hold?
Thu, 11 Oct 2012Reports today say that VW is planning to put the Bentley SUV and Lamborghini Urus SUV on hold as VW fights to cut costs. Despite still strong sales, VW is now forecasting lowered sales going forward than previously expected and looking at ways to keep costs in check until the economy starts moving in the right direction again. And one of those cuts seems to be the launch of luxury SUVs by Bentley and Lamborghini.
The Toyota FT-1 sure does look like the Bertone Mantide
Thu, 16 Jan 2014We really liked the Toyota FT-1, which caught us off guard in the best possible way when it emerged at the Detroit auto show. In fact, we liked Toyota's “spiritual pace car” enough to call it the most fun new thing on the floor -- and we're hoping the automaker's execs take notice. Reader Dennis Liu certainly noticed the car, which seemed rather familiar to him: He feels that, coincidentally or not, it looks a lot like the Bertone Mantide.
