Germany plans to charge foreigners to drive on the Autobahn
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Germany plans to charge foreigners to drive on the Autobahn It seems Germany is planning to charge to use the Autobahn network – just as France does – but it plans to levy the charge just on foreign visitors. The plan is part of a deal by Angela Merkel’s Social Democrat party to form a new coalition and would see all non-German drivers paying a fixed toll to use the Autobahns. But the plan is coming under fire from neighbouring countries (Germany has borders with nine other countries) and even from its own version of the AA – the ADAC – who say the revenue likely to be raised – around £220 million – will do little to address the costs.
Gemballa Mirage GT Matt
Tue, 23 Jun 2009The Gemballa Mirage GT Matt I’ve said it before, but there has to come a point when Gemballa run out of Porsche Carrera GTs to play with. Only 1270 Carrera GTs were ever made, and I swear Uwe Gemballa and his team have built that many different versions! The Gemballa Mirage GT comes in Matt finish paint – Black with Silver detail.
2015 Ford Mustang makes premier 'Hero' car
Wed, 26 Feb 2014The 2015 Mustang stirs up the silver screen with the latest co-branded commercial set to arrive this weekend during the Daytona 500. “Need for Speed” director Scott Waugh says that the ideal movie cars “combine tons of power, rear-wheel drive, great handling and the ability to be easily flung around corners.” So what's better than the latest and greatest Mustang to roll out of the Blue Oval? The 50th anniversary of course.
