Product Descriptions

S400-48v has been designed for dinghies and sailboats up to 4 tons. Its 2700 watt input power, in terms of thrust, is comparable with a 9-HP petrol outboard.

S400 high-efficiency contributes to more thrust, greater speed and ultra-long operating time and superior range.

S400 includes a power switch, a speed controller and premium battery cables with a quick connector for safe and convenient appliance.

S400 adopts unique brushless technology, which distinguish it from competition. For competition electric motor the rotation of motor is generated by sliding carbon brush, which gets worn out easily, consumes power and results heat. For S400 brushless electric motor, it is generated by electronic circuits, which is more reliable and stable. Comparing with competition electric motor, the advantage of S400 brushless motor is as below:
Efficiency values is significantly higher 30%-50%
Much higher torque values at lower battery currents
Longer service lives and less maintenance requirement
Quieter power, cooler operation and less battery consumption
